Ticketing Terms and Conditions

Binding Contract: By purchasing a ticket from SOZO Pte Ltd ("SOZO") via this platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Authorized Use: This Site is for personal use only. You shall not duplicate, publish, modify, or otherwise distribute the material on this Site for any purpose other than to review event information or to purchase tickets.
Site Security: Use of automated systems (robots, spiders, or scrapers) to monitor, copy, or bypass security on this platform is strictly prohibited.

Ticket Limits: SOZO may enforce a maximum ticket limit per person, credit card, or household. We reserve the right to cancel any tickets purchased in excess of this limit without notice.
Pricing Errors: If a ticket is issued at an incorrect price due to a technical or typographical error, SOZO reserves the right to cancel the order and provide a refund for the amount paid.

Finality of Sale: There is no refund, exchange, or cancellation once ticket(s) are sold.
Upgrades: Any upgrade of ticket(s) is subject to availability and the specific terms, conditions, and additional fees set by the Organiser at the time of the request.
Right of Refusal: The Organiser/Venue Owner reserves the right, without refund or compensation, to refuse admission or evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate, or who poses a threat to security or to the enjoyment of the Event by others.
Prohibition of Resale: The resale of ticket(s) at the same or any price is strictly prohibited. SOZO reserves the right to void any ticket found to have been resold or traded for commercial gain.
Unauthorized Sellers: We caution the public against purchasing tickets from unauthorized 3rd party websites (e.g., Viagogo, Carousell). Tickets from non-authorized points of sale are not guaranteed; if found invalid or duplicated, entry will be denied and no refunds will be possible.

In line with industry standards, changes to event status are defined as follows:

Postponed: The event is delayed to an unconfirmed future date.
Rescheduled: The event has been moved to a specific new date and/or time.
Cancelled: The event will not take place and will not be rescheduled.
Communication: In any of the above scenarios, arrangements and instructions for ticket holders will be provided on a per-event basis. Notifications will be sent to the email address registered at the time of purchase.
Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOZO’s liability is limited strictly to the face value of the ticket. Any booking fees or handling fees are non-refundable.

Search and Seizure: As a condition of entry, Holders consent to a search of their person and belongings. Prohibited items (e.g., weapons, professional recording gear, hazardous materials) will be confiscated.
Verification: A valid QR-coded E-Ticket is required for entry. SOZO may require a valid photo ID as proof of identity or age.
Assumption of Risk: Ticket holders assume all risk of injury and all responsibility for property loss, destruction, or theft. By attending, you release SOZO, performers, sponsors, and venue owners from any liability thereafter.

Resolution Process: You agree to contact SOZO support to resolve any billing issues before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your bank.
Consequences: Filing a chargeback for a legitimate purchase is a breach of these terms. Upon notice of a chargeback, the associated tickets will be voided immediately, and the user will be permanently blacklisted from all future SOZO events and platforms (including Anime Festival Asia).

No Consequential Loss: SOZO is not responsible for any personal travel, accommodation, or other related costs/losses incurred by the Holder due to changes in the event status.
Technical Liability: SOZO is not liable for any damage or loss resulting from technical malfunctions, internet outages, or the use of the ticketing platform.

Recording: Professional photography, audio, or video recording is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized content may be confiscated or deleted.
Media Release: By attending, you consent to being filmed or photographed as part of the audience. SOZO may use your likeness in promotional materials worldwide in perpetuity without compensation.
PDPA: Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act. Full Policy: sozo.sg/home/privacy-policy/.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
